a-In Guignard paper test, sodium picrate is oxidized by hydrocyanic acid to sodium picramate which has a red color:Sodium isopupurate
b-Nux vomica seed is very horny due to its very thick cellulosic walls of endosperm and sclenenchymatous epidermis
is very hard due to the presence of hemicellulose in its endosperm

c-Linseed T.S shows positive results with both Alkana Tincture and Sudan III
Shows only with sudan III due to the presense of fixed oil globulee in the embryo

d-Type of ovule of Nux vomica seed is anatropous as it shows raphe
Atropous: no raphe

e-Strychnine is very toxic in very high doses and causes spasms
Cause convulsion& cause death

Type of embryo : straight embryo بس دي أسئلة ال Linseed ممكن حضرتك تنزلنا بقية الاسئلة أصل مالحقناش ننقلها ف المحاضرة والف الف شكر
والغلط ف الجمل باذن الله هو في ال B و C بس فين تحديدا مش عارفة ؟؟

اللي هي كانت أكمل وأسئلة الورقتين اللي هما ال Assighment ?

All your answers of the assignment are correct

About your inquiries:

Outline: means to draw a circle a round something to highlighten it, so you should outline sclerids layer and endosperm/embryo cells which contain the oil

X means magnification power: will be discussed in the section ISA

Nux vomica seed has a satiny sheen appearance, not shiny stain... totally different meaning

items (a-f) are referring to endosperm as you said, (a-c) characters, d-f) chemical tests (correct answers) Bravooooo
