A long time ago, there was a huge apple tree.
♥(¯`•._.•[في قديم الزمان ... كان هناك شجرة تفاح ضخمة ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
ِِA little boy loved to come and play around it every day.
♥(¯`•._.•[و كان هناك طفل صغير يلعب حول هذه الشجرة كل يوم]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
He climbed to the treetop, ate the apples, took a nap under the shadow...
♥(¯`•._.•[كان يتسلق أغصان الشجرة ويأكل من ثمارها ... ثم يغفو قليلا لينام في ظلها]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
He loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him.
♥(¯`•._.•[كان يحب الشجرة وكانت الشجرة تحب أن تلعب معه ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
Time went by...the little boy had grown up,
♥(¯`•._.•[مر الزمن.... وكبر الطفل]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
And he no longer played around the tree every day.
♥(¯`•._.•[وأصبح لا يلعب حول الشجرة كل يوم]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
One day, the boy came back to the tree and he looked sad.
♥(¯`•._.•[♥(¯`•._.•[في يوم من الأيام ... رجع الصبي وكان حزينا ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
'Come and play with me,' the tree asked the boy.
♥(¯`•._.•[فقالت له الشجرة: تعال والعب معي]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
'I am no longer a kid, I do not play around trees anymore'
The boy replied.
♥(¯`•._.•[فأجابها الولد: لم أعد صغيرا لألعب حولك]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
'I want toys. I need money to buy them.'
♥(¯`•._.•[أنا أريد بعض اللعب وأحتاج بعض النقود لشرائها ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
'Sorry, but I do not have money...
♥(¯`•._.•[فأجابته الشجرة: أنا لا يوجد معي نقود ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
But you can pick all my apples and sell them. So, you will have money.
♥(¯`•._.•[ولكن يمكنك أن تأخذ كل التفاح الذي لدي لتبيعه ثم تحصل على النقود التي تريدها ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
The boy was so excited.
♥(¯`•._.•[الولد كان سعيدا للغاية ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
He grabbed all the apples on the tree and left happily.
♥(¯`•._.•[فتسلق الشجرة وجمع كل ثمار التفاح التي عليها وغادر سعيدا ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
The boy never came back after he picked the apples.
♥(¯`•._.•[لم يعد الولد بعدها ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
The tree was sad.
♥(¯`•._.•[فأصبحت الشجرة حزينة ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
One day, the boy who now turned into a man returned
♥(¯`•._.•[وذات يوم عاد الولد ولكنه أصبح رجلا ...!!! ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
And the tree was excited 'Come and play with me' the tree said.
♥(¯`•._.•[كانت الشجرة في منتهى السعادة لعودته وقالت له: تعال والعب معي ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
'I do not have time to play. I have to work for my family.
♥(¯`•._.•[ولكنه أجابها : لا يوجد وقت لدي للعب .. فقد أصبحت رجلا مسئولا عن عائلة ... ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
We need a house for ****ter.
♥(¯`•._.•[ونحتاج لبيت يؤوينا ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
Can you help me?
♥(¯`•._.•[هل يمكنك مساعدتي ؟ ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑

I do not have any house. But you can chop off my branches
To build your house.
♥(¯`•._.•[فأنا ليس عندي بيت ولكن يمكنك أن تأخذ جميع أغصاني لتبني بها بيتا لك ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
' So the man cut all the branches of the tree and left happily.
♥(¯`•._.•[فأخذ الرجل كل الأغصان وغادر وهو سعيد]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
The tree was glad to see him happy but the man never came back since then.
♥(¯`•._.•[كانت الشجرة مسرورة لرؤيته سعيدا ... لكن الرجل لم يعد إليها ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
The tree was again lonely and sad.
♥(¯`•._.•[فأصبحت الشجرة وحيدة و حزينة مرة أخرى]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
One hot summer day,
♥(¯`•._.•[وفي يوم حار من ايام الصيف]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
The man returned and the tree was delighted.
♥(¯`•._.•[عاد الرجل .. وكانت الشجرة في منتهى السعادة ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
'Come and play with me!' the tree said.
♥(¯`•._.•[فقالت له الشجرة: تعال والعب معي ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
'I am getting old. I want to go sailing to relax myself.
♥(¯`•._.•[فقال لها الرجل لقد تقدمت في السن.... وأريد أن أبحر لأي مكان لأرتاح]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
'Can you give me a boat?' 'Said the man'.
♥(¯`•._.•[فقال لها الرجل: هل يمكنك إعطائي مركبا ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
'Use my trunk to build your boat. You can sail far away and be happy.
♥(¯`•._.•[فأجابته: خذ جذعي لبناء مركب... وبعدها يمكنك أن تبحر به بعيدا ... وتكون سعيدا ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
' So the man cut the tree trunk to make a boat.
♥(¯`•._.•[فقطع الرجل جذع الشجرة وصنع مركبا ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
He went sailing and never showed up for a long time.
♥(¯`•._.•[فسافر مبحرا ولم يعد لمدة طويلة ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
Finally, the man returned after many years.
♥(¯`•._.•[أخيرا عاد الرجل بعد غياب طويل]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
'Sorry, my boy. But I do not have anything for you anymore.
♥(¯`•._.•[ولكن الشجرة قالت له : آسفة يا بني ... لم يعد عندي أي شئ أعطيه لك ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
' No more apples for you... ', The tree said.
♥(¯`•._.•[وقالت له:لا يوجد تفاح ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
'No problem, I do not have any teeth to bite ', The man replied.
♥(¯`•._.•[قال لها: لا عليك لم يعد عندي أي أسنان لأقضمها بها]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
'No more trunk for you to climb on'
♥(¯`•._.•[لم يعد عندي جذع لتتسلقه]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
'I am too old for that now' the man said.
♥(¯`•._.•[فأجابها الرجل لقد أصبحت عجوزا ولا أستطيع القيام بذلك ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
'I really cannot give you anything...
♥(¯`•._.•[قالت: أنا فعلا لا يوجد لدي ما أعطيه لك ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
'The only thing left is my dying root', The tree said with tears.
♥(¯`•._.•[قالت وهي تبكي .. كل ما تبقى لدي جذور ميتة
]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
'I do not need much now, just a place to rest.
♥(¯`•._.•[فأجابها: كل ما أحتاجه الآن هو مكان لأستريح فيه ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
I am tired after all these years' the man replied.
♥(¯`•._.•[فأنا متعب بعد كل هذه السنين]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
Good! Old tree roots are the best place to lean on and rest,
♥(¯`•._.•[أجابته: جذور الشجرة العجوز هي أنسب مكان لك للراحة ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
Come, come sit down with me and rest.
♥(¯`•._.•[تعال .. تعال واجلس معي لتستريح ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
' The man sat down and the tree was glad and smiled with tears...
♥(¯`•._.•[جلس الرجل إليها ... كانت الشجرة سعيدة ... تبسمت والدموع تملأ عينيها ]•._.•´¯)♥ツ๑
This is you and the tree is
your parent. !!!!!
